Welcome to Brick Bay’s online store! We are dedicated to delivering your purchases safely and efficiently. Please review the following information regarding our shipping processes, delivery times, and related policies.
1. General Shipping Information
1.1 Delivery Locations
We currently ship to addresses within New Zealand only. Please note that we do not ship to certain remote islands, including the Chatham Islands and Pitt Island, due to logistical constraints.
1.2 Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order. For sculptures or large items, additional shipping charges may apply and will be communicated prior to dispatch.
1.3 Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- North Island: 3-5 business days
- South Island: 5-7 business days
- Rural deliveries may take an additional 2-3 business days.
Please note that these are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or other unforeseen circumstances.
2. Shipping of Specific Items
2.1 Wine
- Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on orders of 12 or more bottles of wine.
- Age Verification: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol. Proof of age may be required upon delivery.
- Damages: If your wine order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days at admin@brickbay.co.nz with photos of the issue.
2.2 Sculptures and Large Items
- Packaging: Sculptures are packaged with great care to ensure they arrive safely.
- Shipping Details: Due to the unique nature of sculptures, shipping times and costs may vary. We will contact you to confirm the shipping method and estimated delivery timeframe after your purchase.
2.3 Gift Cards
- Physical Gift Cards: Shipped via standard delivery.
- Digital Gift Cards: Sent to the email address provided at checkout and are typically delivered within minutes. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive it promptly.
2.4 Digital Tickets
- Digital tickets to events are sent via email upon completing your purchase. These tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the specified event date.
3. Special Shipping Requests
If you have special shipping requirements or need assistance, please email admin@brickbay.co.nz before placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
4. Damaged or Missing Items
4.1 Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. Include your order number and photos of the damaged goods so we can assist you.
4.2 Missing Items
If an item is missing from your order, please contact us immediately at admin@brickbay.co.nz with your order number.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details (where applicable). If you do not receive this email or need help tracking your order, contact us at admin@brickbay.co.nz.
6. Shipping Restrictions
- We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or parcel lockers.
- Orders containing alcohol must be received by someone 18 years or older.
7. Holiday Shipping
7.1 Christmas Deliveries
During the Christmas season, delivery times may be extended due to high demand. To ensure your order arrives in time, please place your order before the cut-off date announced on our website prior to Christmas.
7.2 Delivery Times
While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, please note that they are not guaranteed and are subject to courier schedules and potential delays beyond our control.
8. Changes to Your Order
If you need to update your shipping address or modify your order, please contact us at admin@brickbay.co.nz as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, changes cannot be made.
