Founded by Bobbie Gray in 2017 as an artist-run gallery, Comet Project Space has transformed into a dynamic collaboration between Bobbie Gray, Lara Thomas and Ed Aretino. Together, they proudly continue the legacy of fostering artistic dialogue and community engagement, specialising in immersive light installations that reimagine urban spaces and reconnect communities with the beauty of the natural world.
Comet Collab is distinguished by a commitment to sustainable art, crafting installations from repurposed materials, primarily single-use plastic bottles. These materials, once discarded, are meticulously assembled into stunning works of art, each carrying a unique history that invites reflection on environmental impact. Their light installations celebrate creativity, ingenuity, and collaboration, challenging perceptions of waste and offering high-quality, durable artworks that spread their message of sustainability and community far and wide.
