The Glass House is the spectacular home of Brick Bay Wines and gateway to the Brick Bay Sculpture Trail. Cantilevered over a shimmering lake, The Glass House Kitchen offers relaxed all-day dining showcasing the freshest seasonal produce.
We do our best to accommodate walk-ins but during our peak time (12pm - 2.30pm) can only guarantee a table if it’s been booked in advance.
Join us for an exceptional Matakana food, wine and art experience. We welcome groups of 10- 40 people at Brick Bay. Make an inspired choice when planning your next group event . Enjoy lunch in The Glass House, the sculpture trail, wine tasting, morning or afternoon tea.
Discover Brick Bay after hours- The Glass House is available for a strictly limited number of exclusive private events.
Utilise our unique vineyard venue for your next private dinner or corporate event.
We welcome children to Brick Bay. Outside the Glass House a sandpit, swings and climbing frame provide fun activities.
We have a children's menu and colouring in activities as well as high chairs and baby-changing facilities.
Although children need special supervision in an environment with lakes and artworks, the trail is a delightful introduction to sculpture for the first time. It is possible to take off road pushchairs* on the trail.
*note there are a number of steps on the Sculpture Trail therefore backpacks are a much easier alternative.
We are delighted to be opening Brick Bay after hours this winter for a limited series of events which will showcase our new release wines, specially created menus using our estate grown produce, and the magical setting of The Glass House at nightfall.
Taste our highly acclaimed range of handcrafted wines. We celebrate our classic Pinot Gris, a delicious fruity Rosé and distinctively complex red wines made from our Bordeaux varieties.
Come any time and enjoy a personalised wine tasting at the bar with one of our knowledgable hosts.
Our range of wines is available to taste for $8 which is waived on a bottle purchase.
