Vintage 2010

An exceptional crop of handpicked Pinot Gris, arguably the best in 13 years of harvesting this variety at Brick Bay, is now quietly fermenting in stainless steel tanks, redolent of pears, quince and great promise!
Our Malbec, always an early ripener, is also safely tucked away, its dark purple juice and spicy plum fruit preparing to be a key element in our red blends, with the prospect of a Pharos from 2010 looking highly likely. We make the decision about releasing this premium label after a year in oak barrels when we make a quality assessment.
A beautiful crop of Petit Verdot, which we believe adds a touch of magic into our red blends, has also been picked, leaving us with our Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon making their stately procession towards harvest next month.
